Patrick Hart – Biography

Patrick Hart is a musician living in Montreal, pursuing a masters in  Composition from McGill. Since graduating from the University of Miami  in 2006, Patrick has composed music for three feature-length films,  including the orchestral score for The U, a documentary which premiered  on ESPN in December 2009. His music has been used in commercials  internationally for McDonalds, Old Navy, State Farm, Volkswagen and  Burger King, among others. He has recorded around a dozen self-produced  albums, done work in artist production, sound design, arranging and  engineering, and toured the US with several bands. Presently, Patrick is  writing a piece to be performed in the fall by the McGill Percussion  Ensemble and recording an accompanying pop / R & B album, both about  cannibalism.
