David Ogborn – Tangible Cores

The piece will explore the ways in which rapid composite sonic gestures, near the limits of our auditory perception’s ability to separate sounds into distinct units, can become tangible and performable through the magic of the t-stick.  Inspired by the frenetic energy and sound world of breakcore, we will take this highly expressive, beat-oriented electronic genre into a kinaesthetic and physiological space it has only rarely occupied.
